This Father’s Day, Levi gave me a gift he made at school: a pair of tie dyed socks and a fold out card filled with his own words.
He wrote about what he is grateful for, what he enjoys, and included a thank you note to me.
To some, it may look like a simple school project. To me, it is priceless.
As a father, a professional, and someone who works with people through important career moments, I am constantly reminded that purpose matters. When I feel tired, overwhelmed, or mentally stuck, I look at Levi’s words and remember why I keep going.
I appreciate every opportunity I have. Every client who trusts me. Every chance to mentor someone. Every conversation that helps someone move forward. Every lesson learned through work, sport, family, and life.
Most of all, I appreciate this season of Levi’s life. I appreciate being called Daddy. I appreciate the small moments that become the biggest reminders.
And when I need a little extra luck, I’ll be wearing those socks.
Happy Father’s Day..
